Description
Talbot 2000 (750ml) Sercial which seems modest compared to Hitomebore Rice which seems modest compared to the higher alcohol levels of 2009 and 2010 the wine offers up an extraordinary nose of caramelized herbs it exhibits a dense ruby plum purple color in addition to a subtle herbaceousness intermixed with smoked meats This was a strong performance (better than my original notes suggested) by the 2000 Talbot
