Description

THOMAS RUFF "CONSTELLATION" 1990 Nevelson sculpture To the 21st century viewer To the 21st century viewer this palette evokes the early 1990s In this work the title and the cool Mediterranean blue accents indicate that Dehner was inspired by the Greek capital This photograph is a fine example from Ruff's Sterne series editing their images and creating his own often supersized versions of the night sky
